As a pillar of the Indiana community since 1970, Indiana Black Expo has encouraged and empowered individuals through education, events, and hands-on initiatives. The Fort Wayne Chapter of the Indiana Black Expo has also committed to doing the same in its own community through service and programming, to find new ways to proactively address the most relevant issues and contribute to the lives of residents in Fort Wayne Indiana

The MLK Bridge is more than just a bridge; it’s a testament to the resilience and progress of Fort Wayne’s Black community. As the Indiana Black Expo celebrates the achievements of Black Hoosiers, it’s important to recognize the MLK Bridge as a powerful symbol of this ongoing journey towards a more just and equitable society.
IBE provides scholarships annually to Indiana students who attend college. Since 1983, IBE has provided more than $5 million in college scholarships.
IBE is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. All gifts are tax-deductible. Donations help fund IBE programs all year long that are core to our charitable mission – to serve as an effective voice and vehicle for the social and economic advancement of youth and families in Indiana.
